How long does it take to inflate the Paddle Board?
It takes most people under 7-8 minutes to fully inflate our boards. If you're in shape you can do it in under 5 minutes. Don't forget to remove the black cap on your pump after about 9-11 PSI to make the last 4-5 PSI a little easier!
How do you install the fin?
Slide and push the fin into the groove and lock the fin with the rear latch. Be sure to read the instructions that comes with your paddle board.
How long does it take to inflate and deflate?
Inflation takes most people 5 to 10 minutes. Deflation takes only 2-3 minutes.
Can this board be used in the Ocean?
Absolutely! Our boards are meant for any body of water. If you are new to paddle boarding we suggest you try the board on a calm body of water before venturing out into waves.
Can you ride with a dog?
Many people ride our boards with their dogs. Be careful and watch your balance!.
Does the board come with a leash?
Yes the board comes with a leash. Everything you see in the photos is included!.
Is this board made from drop stitch material?
Yes! All of our boards are made from drop stitch material: drop stitching gives the board it's shape and rigidty.
Does the paddle float?
Yes! Don't worry - the included paddle will float if you drop it in the water..

United StatesThis is my first paddleboard and it’s safe to say that my dog and I are in love. We love the full length traction padding that helps my pup feel secure in her ride. The width and stability of this board is amazing for taking my 75lb golden retriever out on- even with her moving around I am able to keep us stable. The board is also sturdy and buoyant for you to pull yourself back on if you were to fall off in water where you can’t touch.

United StatesThe Komodo is my first paddle board and I love it. I have nothing but positive things to say about it and it has been an amazing board as I learn and get more experienced. The board is versatile and stable which is great since I’m still a beginner. The extra stability is also helpful when I paddle with my dogs since the move around quite a bit. The board is sturdy but still light in weight so it is pretty easy to lift and carry. The EVA pad is very comfortable and is pretty resistant to scratches despite my dogs giving it their best efforts. Overall, I think the quality and design of the board is excellent. Aside from the quality of the board, I also love all the attachments and accessories. The bungee cords on both the front and back of the board provide ample storage space. The built-in threaded mounts are a fabulous addition. I love being able to attach an action camera, cup holder, speaker, or even lights for those evening paddles. There are also several D-rings around the board so you can easily clip other items onto those. All-in-all I love my board, I think the quality is amazing, and I would (and have) highly recommend this board.
United StatesMy wife and I both use Komodo boards and the quality and durability is outstanding. We use them on rivers and lakes mostly, and every option we could ask for is already on the board. Tie down points, cup holder mounts and camera mounts are just a few of the built-in goodies, and the bag the board comes in is oversized so that you can easily get the board into it, along with the pump, paddle and other accessories, and easily carry everything around. Always nice when repacking equipment doesn't feel like putting a puzzle together. I have been really impressed with the stability and overall design of the Komodo, especially compared to some other SUPs I've used. I've had a couple of our smaller kids on the board with me, same with my wife, even in fast moving water, and there is no issue staying upright and enjoying the ride.
United StatesMy overall experience has been excellent. The Komodo is beautiful and the fully padded surface and the action mounts have been a great plus. I bought the Komodo mainly to spend time with my dogs in the water, and I haven't gotten there yet, as I am still training. But I am sure it'll be good even then. My wife and I bought both the Komodo and Mako. Here's a photo of me testing out her Mako!
